Make someone aesthetically
happy with these discounted
limited edition prints and
highly collectible catalogs
To mark this year’s festive season in an artistic way, Hong Kong’s Schoeni Art Gallery will be offering a 20 per cent discount on all art catalogs published by the gallery, plus free framing for prints purchased before 24 December for local clients. The gallery will offer a unique collection of limited edition prints, from contemporary Chinese art to urban or street art from Britain, the US and Hong Kong. Catalogs range from HK$800 to HK$3,000 (about US$100 to US$385) while prints are priced from HK$8,000 to HK$12,000. They can also be purchased online, but the free framing offer is not applicable for online purchases. Prints include works by such artists as Chen Yu, whose Untitled 2007 Series No. 5 from a limited edition of 88 in 16-color screen print is priced at HK$12,000 before discount. Schoeni Art Gallery has enlisted the expertise of Dong Ying Bao, who was the head technician of the printing studio at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, to play a leading role in producing and overseeing the making of the print works by Chen Yu, as well as the other limited edition prints offered by Schoeni. The catalogs include such collectibles as the 48-page Sculptures & Paintings, which was published in conjunction with the contemporary Chinese artist Yue Min Jun’s fourth solo exhibition at Schoeni in 2004.
